What we expect from you
Duksi connects students with teachers who have verified knowledge in their field. Before you register, make sure you meet our standards:
- You have a solid foundation in the subject you want to teach, backed by recognized study or scholarly references
- You have experience teaching, whether in a mosque, Islamic center or community setting
- You are committed to regular student engagement and timely communication
- Your content aligns with authentic Islamic teachings and avoids divisive or unverified interpretations
How we support you
Once approved, you don't teach alone. Duksi offers:
- Course setup guidance: we help you structure your curriculum into clear, digestible modules suited to your target audience, whether children, new Muslims, or advanced students
- Technical support: upload videos, documents, and interactive materials without needing technical expertise
- A serious student community: your students are here to learn, not browse
- Teaching resources: best practices for online Islamic education to strengthen your methodology
Our commitment
We understand that Islamic knowledge is a trust (amanah). Duksi is built to respect the teacher-student relationship (Ustadh-Talib al-Ilm) and the sacred nature of what is being shared. Every teacher on our platform is reviewed before being approved.

Mandatory Requirements
To teach on Duksi, you must meet all three of the following:
- Verified Islamic knowledge:Â You can provide references from recognized scholars or institutions who can vouch for your background. Self-study without scholarly oversight is not sufficient.
- Teaching experience:Â You have taught Islamic subjects in a mosque, Islamic center, school, or community setting. Online experience is accepted if verifiable.
- Technical commitment:Â You are able to upload course materials independently and respond to students within a reasonable timeframe. Inactive teachers are removed from the platform.
Applications without verifiable references will not be approved.
Source Requirements - Mandatory for Every Lesson
Islamic knowledge must be traceable. Duksi requires the following for all published content:
- Every lesson must include at least one verifiable source; Quran, authenticated Hadith, or a recognized scholarly work
- Sources must be listed in the course curriculum (visible before enrollment) and referenced within the lesson itself
- Quran citations must include surah name and ayah number
- Hadith citations must include the collection (e.g. Bukhari, Muslim) and hadith number
- Scholar opinions must name the scholar and, where possible, the original work
Content published without sources will be unpublished pending correction. Repeated violations result in account suspension.
Permitted Content
- Quranic studies and Tajweed
- Hadith sciences based on accepted collections
- Seerah of the Prophet ď·ş
- Fiqh following one of the four established madhahib (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, Hanbali)
- Arabic language for Islamic purposes
- Islamic history and civilization
- Muslim family life and ethics
- Islamic finance & Trade
- Comparative religion: taught with academic accuracy and respect
Strictly ProhibitedÂ
The following content will result in immediate removal from the platform, without warning:
- Extremist or violent ideology: any content that directly or indirectly justifies violence, terrorism, or armed conflict in the name of Islam
- Takfiri rhetoric:Â declaring Muslims or groups of Muslims to be disbelievers (kafir) without scholarly consensus
- Bid'ah promotion:Â teaching practices or beliefs that contradict established Islamic scholarship without clear daleel
- Sectarian content: Â promoting specific movements, sects, or ideologies that cause division within the Muslim Ummah
- Unverified interpretations:Â presenting personal opinions as religious rulings, or quoting weak/fabricated hadith as authentic
- Political agendas:Â using the platform to promote political parties, movements, or partisan causes under the guise of Islamic education
- Content targeting other teachers or scholars:Â personal attacks or public criticism of named individuals
Student Safety - Zero Tolerance
Duksi has a strict safeguarding policy. The following will result in immediate and permanent removal from the platform, and may be reported to relevant authorities:
- Private communication outside the platform:Â teachers are not permitted to contact students via WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, or any channel outside the Duksi platform
- Soliciting personal information:Â asking students for phone numbers, personal addresses, or private contact details under any circumstance
- Inappropriate conduct:Â any communication, language, or behavior toward students that is romantic, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate
- Unsupervised contact with minors: any private interaction with underage students outside of the official course environment is strictly forbidden
These rules apply regardless of the teacher's gender or the student's age. No exceptions.

Application Review
If your documents meet our requirements, your account will be approved.
If documents are incomplete, we will conduct an online knowledge assessment to evaluate your understanding.Start Teaching
